Warrant Issued as Stalking Suspect Vanishes in Parkesburg

PARKESBURG, PA — Authorities are seeking a 33-year-old man after police reported an arrest warrant has been issued in connection with harassment and stalking allegations tied to a protection from abuse order.

According to Parkesburg police, an arrest warrant was issued Tuesday by District Court 15-3-07 for William Wayne Burns, 33. Police said Burns is accused of harassment and stalking related to a protection from abuse order.

Police described Burns as a white male, approximately 5 feet 10 inches tall and weighing about 165 pounds, with red hair and blue eyes.

Investigators are asking anyone with information about Burns’ whereabouts to contact Officer Williams at jwilliams@parkesburgpolice.gov or Detective Sanchez at csanchez@parkesburgpolice.gov.

All suspects, arrestees, and defendants are presumed innocent until proven guilty in a court of law.
