Wanted Man Taken Into Custody on Oxford Street

OXFORD, PA — Oxford Police Department said officers arrested an Oxford man after locating him in the borough while he was allegedly wanted on active bench warrants.

According to police, officers observed Robert Phillips, 55, of Oxford, in the 300 block of Nottingham Avenue at about 8:46 p.m. Sunday, April 26, 2026.

Investigators said officers recognized Phillips as a wanted individual and took him into custody without incident.

Police said Phillips was confirmed to have two active Chester County bench warrants and was transported to the Oxford Police Department before being transferred by constables to Chester County Prison.

All suspects, arrestees, and defendants are presumed innocent until proven guilty in a court of law.
