Walmart Theft Leaves Police Hunting Tattooed Suspect

ELVERSON, PA — Police in Caernarvon Township are asking for the public’s help identifying a man connected to an alleged shoplifting incident last month at a Walmart store in Elverson.

According to the Caernarvon Township Police Department, the incident occurred around 9:17 a.m. on April 14 at Walmart Supercenter.

Investigators said an unidentified white man entered the store and spent what police described as a considerable amount of time selecting merchandise before allegedly leaving without paying.

According to police, the items reportedly taken included men’s apparel, two Nanit Pro Smart Baby HD camera monitor systems, an ornate gold plate, an Anker charging stand, and a Pioneer Apple CarPlay touchscreen car stereo.

Authorities estimated the total loss at $913.17.

Police described the suspect as a man between 26 and 35 years old with facial hair. Investigators said he was wearing a black Carhart hoodie, black cargo pants, black boots, and a black baseball cap. Police also noted the man had tattoos covering the top of his left hand and upper chest area visible above the hoodie collar.

According to investigators, the suspect arrived in a gray Ford pickup truck, possibly an F-250, towing a flat trailer.
