WILMINGTON, DE — Wilmington police are investigating a shooting that left a 17-year-old boy injured Saturday evening.
According to the Wilmington Police Department, officers responded at approximately 7:26 p.m. July 11 to the area of C and South Heald streets following a reported shooting.
Police said officers located a 17-year-old male suffering from a gunshot wound. He was transported to a hospital, where he was reported to be in stable condition.
Investigators have not released information about a suspect or the circumstances surrounding the shooting. The investigation remains ongoing, according to police.
