WILMINGTON, DE — A Wilmington man has been charged in connection with a robbery reported near downtown earlier this month, police said.
According to Wilmington Police, members of the Uniformed Services Division responded at about 10:15 a.m. on June 24 to the area of East 10th and North Walnut streets for a report of a robbery.
Police said officers canvassed the area and located a person matching the description of one of the suspects near East 12th Street and Clifford Brown Walk.
Authorities identified the man as Marlon Lindsey, 29. Police said Lindsey was taken into custody without incident.
Lindsey has been charged with second-degree robbery and second-degree conspiracy.
Court records show he was arraigned in the New Castle County Court of Common Pleas and committed to the Howard R. Young Correctional Institution pending further proceedings.
All suspects, arrestees, and defendants are presumed innocent until proven guilty in a court of law.
