EXTON, PA — A 46-year-old woman has been charged in connection with an alleged retail theft at the Kohl’s department store on West Lincoln Highway, according to the West Whiteland Township Police Department.
Police report that officers responded to the store, located at 229 West Lincoln Highway, for a theft investigation that led to the arrest of Gayatri Mohan Patel. Authorities allege that Patel took merchandise without paying and was later found in possession of items believed to be stolen.
Patel has been charged with retail theft and receiving stolen property. Police did not release details about the value or type of merchandise involved, noting that the case remains under review as part of the department’s ongoing retail theft enforcement efforts.
The arrest occurred on December 3, 2025. No additional information has been released regarding court proceedings or potential restitution.
