Predawn Wilmington Shooting Leaves Man Fighting for Life

WILMINGTON, DE — Wilmington police are investigating a shooting early Wednesday morning that left a 35-year-old man critically injured.

According to the Wilmington Police Department, officers responded around 3:19 a.m. to the 600 block of West 31st Street for reports of a shooting.

Police said responding officers located a 35-year-old male suffering from a gunshot wound.

Authorities reported the victim was transported to a hospital, where he was listed in critical condition.

Investigators have not released information regarding a suspect or circumstances surrounding the shooting.

The incident remains under investigation, according to police.
