WILMINGTON, DE — Wilmington Police Department said officers arrested a Wilmington man Tuesday following a drug investigation in the city’s East Side neighborhood.
According to investigators, members of the department’s Drug, Organized Crime and Vice Division were conducting an investigation near 23rd and North Pine streets at about 9:47 a.m. Tuesday, May 12, 2026, when officers allegedly observed Andrew Polack, 34, engaged in drug sales.
Police said officers made contact with Polack and allegedly recovered 14.5 grams of crack cocaine and 1.59 grams of heroin.
Polack was charged with possession of a controlled substance with intent to deliver in Tier 2 quantity and possession of a controlled substance with intent to deliver.
According to police, Polack was arraigned in Justice of the Peace Court 11 and released after posting $4,500 cash bail.
All suspects, arrestees, and defendants are presumed innocent until proven guilty in a court of law.
