Police Hunt for Retail Theft Suspect in Wyomissing

WYOMISSING, PA — Police in Wyomissing are asking for the public’s help identifying a person of interest connected to a reported retail theft investigation.

According to the Wyomissing Police Department, investigators are attempting to identify a man connected to an alleged shoplifting incident reported Tuesday at a retail business on State Hill Road.

Authorities did not release additional details regarding what merchandise was allegedly stolen or whether charges have been filed.

Police asked anyone who recognizes the individual to contact the department at 610-375-6102. Tips may also be submitted anonymously through Crime Alert Berks County by calling 1-877-373-9913 or by texting 847411 and beginning the message with “ALERTBERKS.”

Investigators asked the public to reference assignment number 39-26-3390 when providing information.

The investigation remains active, according to police.

All suspects, arrestees, and defendants are presumed innocent until proven guilty in a court of law.
