PHILADELPHIA, PA — Philadelphia police are seeking the public’s help identifying a person wanted in connection with the fatal shooting of a 60-year-old man more than two years ago.
According to the Philadelphia Police Department’s Homicide Unit, the shooting occurred at approximately 2:51 a.m. Aug. 5, 2024, near Rising Sun Avenue and Goodman Street.
Police reported that a 60-year-old man was fatally shot. Authorities have not identified the victim in the information provided.
Investigators released surveillance video excerpts depicting a person police are seeking to identify in connection with the homicide investigation.
Police described the person as a Black male with a medium build and facial hair who was wearing a camouflage bucket hat and riding a 10-speed-style bicycle at the time of the incident. According to investigators, he was last observed riding the bicycle in the 1100 block of Westmoreland Street toward Germantown Avenue.
The city of Philadelphia is offering a $20,000 reward for information leading to an arrest and conviction in a homicide case.

All suspects, arrestees, and defendants are presumed innocent until proven guilty in a court of law.
