WEST CHESTER, PA — A pedestrian died after being struck by a vehicle early Sunday morning in West Chester, according to borough police.
West Chester Police reported that officers were dispatched around 1:30 a.m. to the 300 block of South High Street for a crash involving a pedestrian.
According to police, the pedestrian was struck by a vehicle traveling on South High Street. Emergency responders transported the victim to Paoli Hospital, where police said the individual later died from their injuries.
Police stated that the vehicle involved, the driver, and any occupants have been identified.
The incident remains under investigation by the department’s crash reconstruction unit, police reported.

All suspects, arrestees, and defendants are presumed innocent until proven guilty in a court of law.
