OXFORD, PA — A local man was taken into custody on an active felony warrant following a traffic stop in Oxford, according to police.
Oxford Police reported that at approximately 4:24 p.m. April 4, officers conducted a traffic stop in the 200 block of Summit Avenue and made contact with the driver, identified as Noah Kirk, 28, of Oxford.
According to police, officers determined that Kirk was wanted on an active felony arrest warrant issued by Pennsylvania State Police on February 27.
Authorities stated the warrant includes charges of allegedly selling or transferring a firearm with false written statements, tampering with public records or information, and making a statement under penalty.
Police reported that Kirk was taken into custody without incident, transported to the Oxford Police Department, and later turned over to Pennsylvania State Police.
All suspects, arrestees, and defendants are presumed innocent until proven guilty in a court of law.
