KENNETT SQUARE, PA — A Kennett Square man is facing a harassment charge after police said he repeatedly contacted an individual by phone and text despite the unwanted communication.
According to the Kennett Square Police Department, officers responded to the 200 block of Center Street at 2:37 a.m. on July 26 for a report of harassment by communication.
Police reported that the victim told officers their former partner, identified as 31-year-old Armando Camacho-Lopez of Kennett Square, had allegedly been repeatedly calling and texting them. According to police, the victim provided officers with dozens of text messages and records showing more than 90 phone calls from blocked numbers that investigators allege were made by Camacho-Lopez.
Based on the investigation, police completed a criminal complaint charging Camacho-Lopez with harassment. The charge was filed in Chester County District Court 15-3-04, according to the department.
All suspects, arrestees, and defendants are presumed innocent until proven guilty in a court of law.
