NORTH COVENTRY TWP, PA — Two defendants already facing charges in connection with alleged burglaries at a Pottstown-area storage facility have been linked to another break-in discovered this month, according to North Coventry Township police.
Officers responded Sept. 15 to CubeSmart Storage at Coventry Mall, 351 W. Schuylkill Road, after a recently discovered burglary was reported, police said.
According to investigators, the victims had not visited their storage unit recently and discovered upon returning that the unit had allegedly been broken into and several items were missing.
Police said their investigation linked the incident to several burglaries discovered at the same CubeSmart facility in June.
Investigators identified Felix Cuevas and Brenda Borysowski, who had previously been charged in connection with the earlier burglaries, as defendants allegedly linked to the newly reported incident.
Police said additional charges of burglary, receiving stolen property and theft by unlawful taking will be added to the existing case against Cuevas and Borysowski.
Investigators are asking anyone with information about the incidents, or anyone who believes their storage unit may have been burglarized, to contact Detective Machese at 610-323-8360 or vmachese@norcopd.org.
Police also encouraged customers with storage units at the facility to check their units and report suspicious activity or missing property.
All suspects, arrestees, and defendants are presumed innocent until proven guilty in a court of law.
