Morning Wawa Theft Ends With Quick Arrest, Police Say

POTTSTOWN, PA — A Montgomery County man was cited for retail theft after police responded to a reported shoplifting incident at a Wawa convenience store in North Coventry Township.

According to the North Coventry Police Department, officers were dispatched at approximately 7:25 a.m. on May 25 to the Wawa store on West Schuylkill Road for a retail theft in progress.

Police said officers arrived and took 33-year-old Alexander Ressler of Audubon into custody at the scene.

According to investigators, Ressler was cited for retail theft and released.
