Man Wounded in Wilmington Shooting as Police Seek Answers

WILMINGTON, DE — Wilmington Police are investigating a shooting that left a man hospitalized Saturday evening.

According to police, officers responded to the 1100 block of Pleasant Street at approximately 7:38 p.m. on June 20 following reports of a shooting.

Investigators reported locating a 32-year-old man who had sustained a gunshot wound. The victim was transported to a local hospital, where he was reported to be in stable condition.

Police have not released information regarding a suspect or a possible motive.

The investigation remains active, according to authorities, and additional details are expected to be released as they become available.
