Man Critically Wounded in Wilmington Shooting

WILMINGTON, DE — Police are investigating a shooting that left a 29-year-old man critically injured Monday afternoon in Wilmington.

According to Wilmington Police, officers responded at about 1:49 p.m. July 6 to the area of Eighth and Adams streets for a report of a shooting.

Police located a 29-year-old man suffering from a gunshot wound. The victim was transported to a hospital, where he was listed in critical condition.

Authorities have not released additional details about the circumstances surrounding the shooting, including whether any suspects have been identified or what may have led to the gunfire.
