HUNTINGDON VALLEY, PA — A 73-year-old man faces multiple charges after Lower Moreland Township Police allege he threatened another person with a knife during an Aug. 7 incident on Welsh Road.
Police identified the defendant as Gary Phillips, 73.
Officers responded Aug. 7 to Welsh Road after receiving a report that a person had allegedly threatened a victim with a knife, according to police.
Following an investigation, authorities identified Phillips as the suspect and sought a warrant for his arrest, police reported.
Phillips subsequently turned himself in to Lower Moreland Township Police on Aug. 13.
He was charged with terroristic threats with intent to terrorize another person, possession of an instrument of crime with intent, simple assault, recklessly endangering another person, and harassment involving physical contact, according to police.
Authorities did not provide additional information about the circumstances surrounding the alleged confrontation.
All suspects, arrestees, and defendants are presumed innocent until proven guilty in a court of law.
