Man Arrested Near West Chester Rally for Allegedly Carrying Unlicensed Gun

WEST CHESTER, PA — A man was taken into custody on Saturday, June 14, 2025, after law enforcement officers discovered he was allegedly carrying a firearm without a permit near a large rally on North High Street.

Officers from the West Chester Borough Police Department were alerted by members of the public about a potential firearm violation and quickly located the suspect in the area. During a pedestrian stop, police found an unlicensed firearm on the individual, authorities said.

The suspect, identified as 31-year-old Kevin Krebs, of the 100 block of Conestoga Road in Malvern, PA, was taken into custody without incident.

The West Chester Borough Police Department received assistance from the Chester County Sheriff’s Office and the Federal Bureau of Investigation to ensure the safety of the community during the rally. No injuries were reported, and the investigation remains active.
