HORSHAM, PA — A 40-year-old man is facing multiple felony charges after Horsham Township police allege he stole more than $200,000 worth of precious metals by posing as the intended recipient of a FedEx delivery.
According to the Horsham Township Police Department, Yohance Trim was arrested in Maryland on July 17 following a months-long theft investigation.
Investigators allege Trim intercepted a FedEx delivery driver and, using a false identity, took possession of more than $200,000 in precious metals—primarily gold—belonging to a Horsham Township resident.
Police reported that Trim was arrested in Maryland on an outstanding warrant related to the investigation and transported to the Montgomery County Correctional Facility for arraignment.
Authorities charged Trim with theft by unlawful taking, receiving stolen property, theft of mail, identity theft, and forgery.
Additional details regarding Trim’s bail or preliminary court proceedings were not immediately available.
All suspects, arrestees, and defendants are presumed innocent until proven guilty in a court of law.
