KENNETT SQUARE, PA — A 46-year-old man has been charged after authorities said he failed to comply with Pennsylvania’s sexual offender registration requirements.
According to the Kennett Square Police Department, officers received a fax from Pennsylvania’s Megan’s Law unit at approximately 1:50 p.m. on Monday, March 30, 2026, indicating that Humberto Luna-Lopez was allegedly noncompliant with required registration procedures.
Police reported that Luna-Lopez was scheduled for verification between March 15 and March 24, 2026, but had not appeared, and that his last recorded verification was in October 2025.
According to investigators, charges were filed following consultation with the Assistant District Attorney.
Court records show the charges were filed on Friday, April 3, 2026, in District Court 15-3-04.
Luna-Lopez has been charged with failure to comply with sexual offender registration requirements and failure to verify address or be photographed as required, according to authorities.
All suspects, arrestees, and defendants are presumed innocent until proven guilty in a court of law.
