Man Accused in Child Assault Case Extradited to Berks County

SINKING SPRING, PA — A Tennessee man is facing multiple felony charges following a two-month investigation into an alleged sexual assault involving a minor, police said.

According to South Heidelberg Township Police, Dorian T. Willhite, 36, of Vanleer, Tennessee, was taken into custody after Detective Sgt. Heiden obtained an arrest warrant in connection with the investigation.

Police reported that Willhite was apprehended by Tennessee law enforcement and was held at the Dickson County Jail in Charlotte, Tennessee.

Authorities said that on April 1, 2026, the Berks County Sheriff’s Office extradited Willhite to the Berks County Central Booking Center.

Willhite has been charged with statutory sexual assault, aggravated indecent assault of a person under 16, unlawful contact with a minor, sexual abuse of children, and corruption of minors, according to police.

Police stated that following his arraignment on April 1, 2026, bail was set at $250,000 secured, and Willhite was remanded to the Berks County Jail.

All suspects, arrestees, and defendants are presumed innocent until proven guilty in a court of law.
