HATBORO, PA — Hatboro police are searching for a 20-year-old man accused of confronting a person inside a vehicle at a McDonald’s and using a knife to cut the victim’s clothing.
Police said they received a report Sept. 12 about an assault that allegedly occurred two days earlier at the McDonald’s at 121 N. York Road.
Police said interviews and surveillance video showed the victim sitting inside a vehicle when Dantz Zachary Jenkins allegedly approached him and initiated a confrontation.
Police allege Jenkins then produced a knife and began cutting the victim’s clothing before leaving the area with several associates.
An arrest warrant for Jenkins was issued Sept. 18 by Magisterial District Judge Todd Stephens under docket number MJ-38122-CR-0000171-2026.
Jenkins is charged with simple assault, possession of an instrument of crime, and harassment.
Police described Jenkins as a Black man, approximately 6 feet tall and 160 pounds, with black hair and brown eyes.

All suspects, arrestees, and defendants are presumed innocent until proven guilty in a court of law.
