WILMINGTON, DE — The Wilmington Police Department’s Cold Case Unit has renewed its call for public assistance in solving the 2000 murder of Carmen Rodriguez, a 28-year-old woman who lost her life under tragic circumstances.
Rodriguez was found on July 9, 2000, in the early morning near a park bench at East 26th Street and Speakman Place. Authorities determined that she had suffered multiple injuries that resulted in her death. Despite over two decades of investigative efforts, her case remains unsolved.
The Cold Case Unit is urging anyone with information to come forward, emphasizing that even seemingly minor details could aid investigators.
