HATBORO, PA — Police are searching for a driver accused of fleeing the scene after a juvenile bicyclist was struck in a traffic incident, authorities said.
According to Hatboro Police, officers were dispatched March 30, 2026, to the intersection of South York Road and School Road for a report of a pedestrian struck by a vehicle.
Police reported that upon arrival, officers determined the striking vehicle had left the scene.
According to investigators, the vehicle is described as a black SUV with a partial registration of “MTX,” allegedly operated by a white female driver.
Authorities said video obtained during the investigation appears to show a black Toyota, possibly a Highlander, striking the juvenile bicyclist in the middle of the intersection.
Police reported the vehicle allegedly pulled over briefly before fleeing northbound on South York Road.
The condition of the juvenile bicyclist was not disclosed.
According to authorities, the investigation remains active under incident reference number 2026-02578.
Police are asking anyone with information to contact Hatboro Police at 215-675-2832 or submit a tip through their CrimeWatch portal.
All suspects, arrestees, and defendants are presumed innocent until proven guilty in a court of law.
