HUNTINGDON VALLEY, PA — A 40-year-old man faces charges after Lower Moreland Township Police recovered an allegedly stolen vehicle during a traffic stop on Philmont Avenue, according to authorities.
Police reported that officers conducted the traffic stop Aug. 9 and determined that the vehicle had been reported stolen.
The driver, identified by police as Akaki Tvildiani, 40, was detained during the stop and subsequently arrested, according to the department.
Tvildiani was charged with receiving stolen property and unauthorized use of a motor vehicle.
Police did not provide additional information about when or where the vehicle was allegedly stolen or the circumstances that led officers to conduct the traffic stop.
All suspects, arrestees, and defendants are presumed innocent until proven guilty in a court of law.
