Chester County Man Jailed After Threats Investigation

PARKESBURG, PA — Parkesburg Borough Police have charged a Chester County man with terroristic threats and related offenses following an investigation that began late last year.

According to police, 45-year-old James William Linderman was charged after investigators obtained an arrest warrant on May 20.

Investigators reported Linderman was taken into custody by Caln Township Police during the early morning hours of May 21.

Police said Linderman was subsequently transported to Central Booking at Chester County Prison.

According to court proceedings, Linderman was arraigned Thursday and bail was set at $50,000 cash.

Police reported a preliminary hearing has been scheduled for June 1 before District Court 15-3-07.

Additional details regarding the investigation or the alleged threats were not immediately released.

All suspects, arrestees, and defendants are presumed innocent until proven guilty in a court of law.
