HATBORO, PA — A report of a man walking through a residential backyard early Tuesday morning led to the arrest of a Hatboro man now facing burglary and theft-related charges, according to Hatboro police.
Police said officers were dispatched at approximately 1:31 a.m. July 7 to the 400 block of Crescent Road after a caller reported a man walking in a backyard.
According to investigators, responding officers arrived within minutes and encountered Gregory Doublesky, 35, who allegedly attempted to conceal himself from officers.
Police reported that their investigation determined Doublesky had allegedly entered multiple properties and removed items from them.
Doublesky was taken into custody and charged with burglary, theft of secondary metal, theft by unlawful taking, loitering and prowling at nighttime, and criminal trespass. Police said arraignment was pending.
All suspects, arrestees, and defendants are presumed innocent until proven guilty in a court of law.
