According to the Lower Moreland Township Police Department, officers responded to a security alarm on July 9. When they arrived, officers found the rear door of the residence unlocked.
Following an investigation, police alleged that 39-year-old Douglas Gratz had unlawfully entered the property. Authorities later took Gratz into custody.
Gratz was charged with burglary of a structure not adapted for overnight accommodation with no person present, criminal trespass, fleeing or attempting to elude an officer, intentional possession of a controlled substance by a person not registered, harassment, loitering and prowling at nighttime, and defiant trespass.
All suspects, arrestees, and defendants are presumed innocent until proven guilty in a court of law.
