EXTON, PA — Ten Chester County nonprofits are receiving a significant infusion of funding after the Whitford Charitable Classic awarded $100,000 in grants, distributing $10,000 to each organization to support community-based work across the county.

The grants were announced following the 2025 Whitford Charitable Classic, held September 19–21 at Whitford Country Club. The annual fundraising weekend brought together club members, supporters, and nonprofit partners for golf, tennis, and pickleball tournaments, along with the Whitford Gala and Auction.

“I’m incredibly proud of our outstanding membership and the dedicated committees who made this year’s event possible,” said Taylor Young, co-chair of the Whitford Charitable Classic. “My heartfelt thanks to everyone who participated, donated, and helped bring it all together. I’m especially grateful to my co-chair, Bill Penney, for his support and leadership.”
