PHILADELPHIA, PA — Yellowwood Technologies is extending its investment-analysis platform into real estate through a new design-partner program with CAPREIT, Binswanger and Reichard Capital, targeting family offices and smaller investment teams that need more structured underwriting and diligence workflows.
The Philadelphia-based company launched the Yellowwood Real Estate Design Partner Program, or REDEPP, to adapt its existing deal-review technology for multifamily, industrial and commercial real estate.
Yellowwood currently supports analysis of minority and control investments in private companies. The new program is intended to build workflows around real estate-specific considerations such as property operations, local market conditions, capital requirements, financing and investment returns.
The three founding participants will work with Yellowwood on the information, calculations, diligence questions and decision materials needed to evaluate property investments from initial screening through investment committee review.
“Real estate is a logical next market for Yellowwood because it sits alongside private-company investing in many family office portfolios,” founder and Chief Executive Officer Eric Vest said.
Vest said the company chose to develop the product with active real estate investors rather than build the workflows independently.
CAPREIT, one of the design partners, owns and manages more than $6 billion of multifamily assets in the U.S. Chief Executive Officer and Chief Investment Officer Andrew Kadish said investment teams must weigh operating performance, market conditions, capital needs, financing and expected returns simultaneously.
“Yellowwood can help us get to the important questions faster and keep the analysis organized from first review through investment committee,” Kadish said.
Binswanger, a 95-year-old employee-owned commercial real estate firm, will also participate. Its operations include brokerage, investment sales, corporate advisory and location consulting.
The third partner, Chicago-based Reichard Capital, focuses on multifamily and related real estate investments.
“We look at an acquisition through several lenses from day one, including purchase economics, construction, insurance, operating risk, and the long-term plan for the asset,” founder and Chief Executive Officer Nate Reichard said.
Yellowwood plans to use the program to create standardized workflows by transaction type rather than separate systems for individual customers.
The resulting real estate functionality is expected to become available to Yellowwood members later in 2026.
