WILMINGTON, DE — WSFS Financial Corporation (NASDAQ: WSFS) retained investment-grade credit ratings from Morningstar DBRS, with a stable outlook reflecting the lender’s market position, diversified revenue and balance-sheet strength.
Morningstar DBRS confirmed a Long-Term Issuer Rating of “A (low)” for WSFS Financial Corporation and an “A” rating for its primary subsidiary, WSFS Bank. Trends on all of the ratings remain Stable.
The ratings agency cited WSFS’ market position, diversified revenue streams and noninterest income among factors supporting the ratings. It also pointed to the company’s deposit base and capital levels, which Morningstar DBRS characterized as above those of peers.
WSFS Bank received an Intrinsic Assessment of “a” and a Support Assessment of SA1. WSFS Financial Corporation received a Support Assessment of SA3, with its Long-Term Issuer Rating positioned one notch below the bank’s Intrinsic Assessment.
The ratings provide an external assessment of the creditworthiness of WSFS and its banking subsidiary, including their capacity to meet financial obligations.
WSFS reported $22.7 billion in balance-sheet assets and $101.7 billion in assets under management and administration as of June 30, 2026.
The Wilmington-based financial services company operates 114 offices, including 87 banking locations. Its footprint includes 58 offices in Pennsylvania, 38 in Delaware, 14 in New Jersey, two in Florida and one each in Nevada and Virginia.
WSFS provides commercial and consumer banking, treasury management, trust and wealth management services. Its businesses also include Bryn Mawr Trust, NewLane Finance, Cash Connect and WSFS Mortgage.
