Wilmington Police Investigate Fatal Shooting on West 20th Street

WILMINGTON, DE — The Wilmington Police Department is investigating a fatal shooting that occurred on Tuesday evening in the 200 block of West 20th Street.

According to the police, the incident took place at approximately 9:06 p.m. inside a residence. Upon arrival, officers found a 39-year-old male suffering from gunshot wounds. Despite immediate medical attention, the victim succumbed to his injuries.

The identity of the victim and further details surrounding the incident remain undisclosed as authorities continue their investigation. This incident adds to an escalating number of shootings in Wilmington, raising concerns about public safety in the area.
