Wilmington Man Arrested on Drug Charges Following Police Operation

WILMINGTON, DE — Wilmington Police have arrested a man on drug charges following an operation by the Drug, Organized Crime, and Vice Division on March 7.

At approximately 2:11 p.m., officers in the 600 block of East 9th Street reportedly observed a male individual involved in what appeared to be drug-related activity. Upon making contact with the man, identified as 57-year-old Frank Singleton, officers found him in possession of .7 grams of crack cocaine. Singleton was taken into custody without incident.

Singleton has been charged with possession of a controlled substance with the intent to deliver. He was arraigned in Justice of the Peace Court 11 and subsequently committed to the Howard R. Young Correctional Institution on $2,500 cash-only bail.
