MIDDLETOWN TWP, PA — The Pennsylvania Department of Transportation (PennDOT) has announced scheduled bridge repair activities on Interstate 295 in Middletown Township, Bucks County, set to take place during nighttime hours to minimize daytime traffic disruptions. This essential maintenance work will involve lane closures that may impact traffic flow over the coming week.

From Monday, September 23, through Wednesday, September 25, eastbound I-295 will experience lane closures from 9:00 PM to 5:00 AM. Similarly, from Wednesday, September 25, through Friday, September 27, a lane closure will be in effect on the westbound side of I-295 during the same nighttime hours. These closures are strategically planned to ensure the repairs can be conducted efficiently while mitigating the impact on daily commuters.

Motorists traveling through the affected sections should anticipate potential delays and plan their journeys accordingly, allowing extra time to reach their destinations. PennDOT advises that all scheduled activities are contingent upon favorable weather conditions, and adjustments may be necessary in response to unforeseen circumstances.
