Weekday Road Maintenance in Bucks County to Cause Delays

BUCKS COUNTY, PA — The Pennsylvania Department of Transportation (PennDOT) announced that various maintenance activities will take place in Bucks County, leading to weekday travel restrictions.

From Monday, June 24, through Wednesday, July 3, lane closures will be in effect from 9:00 AM to 3:00 PM at the following locations:

Route 32 (River Road) between Taylorsville Road and Woodside Road in Upper Makefield and Lower Makefield townships will undergo base repair. During this period, motorists should use Woodside Road and Taylorsville Road as detours.

Geigel Hill Road between Durham Road and Headquarters Road in Tinicum Township will face closures for pipe replacement and bridge repair. Drivers are advised to follow detours via Durham Road, Route 611 (Easton Road), Dark Hollow Road, Route 32 (River Road), and Headquarters Road.

Local access will be maintained, but PennDOT warns that backups and delays will occur. Motorists should allow extra time when traveling near these work areas. All scheduled activities are weather dependent.
