Weekday Lane Closures Planned for I-95 in Northeast Philadelphia for Inlet Repairs

PHILADELPHIA, PA — The Pennsylvania Department of Transportation (PennDOT) has announced scheduled inlet repair work along northbound Interstate 95 near Academy Road in Northeast Philadelphia, beginning Monday, July 21.

From July 21 through Thursday, July 31, the left lane of I-95 northbound will be closed on weekdays between the Academy Road Interchange and the Bucks County line. Lane restrictions will be in effect daily from 9:00 AM to 3:00 PM.

Motorists are advised to anticipate delays and allow additional time for travel through the work zone. All scheduled work is weather dependent.
