Vendor Surrenders to Lower Pottsgrove Township Police, Faces Allegations of Retail Theft

POTTSTOWN, PA — Thomas Edward Ferraro, a 23-year-old formerly employed as a vendor at Home Depot, turned himself in to the Lower Pottsgrove Township Police Department on Thursday, January 11th, 2024. A warrant had been issued for his arrest on Monday, January 8th, 2024.

Ferraro is alleged to have taken various items offered for sale at Home Depot, located at 295 Armand Hammer Blvd., Pottstown, PA, and left the building without paying for those items. This reportedly occurred on multiple occasions. Through diligent investigation, Ferraro was identified as the suspect. The total loss to Home Depot due to these alleged activities amounted to $1,701.43.

Following his surrender, Ferraro now faces charges including one count of retail theft and one count of receiving stolen property. However, it is important to reiterate that a criminal complaint or an arrest does not constitute a declaration of guilt. All suspects, arrestees, or defendants, including Ferraro, are presumed innocent until proven guilty in a court of law.
