Utility Construction Continues in Lower Providence Township: Expect Delays

Traffic Restrictions

LOWER PROVIDENCE TWP, PA — Next week, commuters in Lower Providence Township, Montgomery County, should prepare for continued utility construction on two state highways. The Pennsylvania Department of Transportation (PennDOT) has announced these works as part of a local safety improvement project.

From Monday, March 11, through Friday, March 15, a lane closure is scheduled on Park Avenue between Eagleville Road and Sandpiper Road from 9:00 AM to 3:00 PM. Simultaneously, another lane closure will occur on Eagleville Road between Blue Teel Circle and Park Avenue during the same hours.

These construction activities are likely to cause traffic backups and delays, so motorists are advised to allow extra time when traveling through the work areas. As always, all scheduled activities are weather dependent.

While these lane closures may cause some short-term inconvenience, they are part of a broader effort to enhance the safety and efficiency of our local roadways. Commuters are encouraged to exercise patience and caution when navigating through these zones, keeping in mind the long-term benefits of these necessary improvements.
