Upper Merion Police Seek Public’s Help in Identifying Suspected Nicorette Gum Thief

KING OF PRUSSIA, PA — The Upper Merion Police are seeking the public’s assistance to identify a suspect believed to be involved in multiple thefts at the local Wegmans Market, located at 1 Village Drive in King of Prussia, Pennsylvania. The most recent incident was on February 16, 2024.

The suspect, reportedly an older, tall Black male with a heavier build and a black and grey goatee, is accused of stealing large quantities of Nicorette gum on several occasions. During the incidents, he was seen wearing a grey knit hat, dark-colored jacket, and a distinctive black hooded sweatshirt bearing the Reebok logo.

The police department has assigned Detective Danny Bocanumenth to the investigation. Anyone who can help identify the suspect is urged to contact the Upper Merion Police Investigations Division at 610-265-3232. The case number is 24-03431.
