ELIZABETHVILLE, PA — Upper Dauphin Vinyl Products ranked No. 3,572 on the 2026 Inc. 5000, giving the family-owned Central Pennsylvania outdoor-living contractor its first place on the national ranking after expanding its product offerings and vendor network.
The recognition follows two other growth rankings this year. The Elizabethville company also appeared on the 2026 Inc. Regionals Northeast list and a 2026 Financial Times ranking, according to the company.
Inc. ranks privately held companies for the Inc. 5000 based on percentage revenue growth over three years. The information provided by Upper Dauphin Vinyl Products did not disclose its revenue or three-year growth rate.
Founded by Vernon Petersheim in 2006, Upper Dauphin Vinyl Products serves the Greater Harrisburg area, providing decks, railings, fencing, pergolas and other outdoor-living products and services.
Vice President of Sales and Marketing Benjamin Kauffman attributed part of the company’s expansion to a broader product portfolio and relationships with additional vendors, which he said have allowed it to offer customers more options.
That expansion has also pushed the company beyond its traditional deck-building business and into additional categories, including pavilions, patios and lighting.
“It was somewhat of a challenge for us to expand, but eventually we realized we can bring our vision and goals to offerings like pavilions, patios, and lighting,” Kauffman said.
Upper Dauphin Vinyl Products is based at 740 Lykens St. in Elizabethville. The company can be reached at 717-303-6134 or sales@udvinylproducts.com.
