BLUE BELL, PA — Unisys Corp. (NYSE: UIS) has advanced to the top tier of Everest Group’s 2026 North American digital workplace services rankings, strengthening its competitive position in a market where corporate customers are increasingly adopting artificial intelligence to manage employee technology and IT support.
The Blue Bell-based technology services company moved from Major Contender in 2025 to Leader in Everest Group’s Digital Workplace Services PEAK Matrix Assessment for 2026. Unisys was also named one of four Star Performers, a designation recognizing providers with the greatest year-over-year improvement.
The assessment evaluated 29 digital workplace service providers operating in North America, measuring market impact, service capabilities and strategic direction.
Everest Group attributed Unisys’ improved position to its AI-enabled workplace management tools, employee support services and field-service operations.
The recognition comes as IT service providers compete to help businesses automate technical support, improve employee productivity and manage increasingly complex workplace technology environments.
Among the capabilities cited was Unisys’ Microsoft Teams Rooms Dashboard, a proprietary tool that monitors meeting-room equipment performance and usage to identify potential service disruptions.
Everest Group also recognized the company’s XLA 3.0 framework, which uses employee experience data, workplace analytics and business performance measurements to evaluate IT service delivery.
Unisys’ field-service operations contributed to its ranking through offerings that include augmented reality-assisted technicians and liquid-cooling support for data centers.
The assessment also identified the company’s technology partnerships, work with regulated industries and client engagement practices as competitive strengths.
“Unisys’ experience-led approach to workplace transformation reinforced by its XLA 3.0 framework, along with its mature field services portfolio and focus on frontline worker enablement, has helped it attain its position as a Leader and emerge as a Star Performer,” said Prabhneet Kaur, practice director at Everest Group.
Patrycja Sobera, senior vice president and general manager of Digital Workplace Solutions at Unisys, said the company is emphasizing AI-enabled services and operational performance as businesses seek to improve employee technology experiences.
Everest Group’s Leader designation recognizes providers with broad service portfolios, established delivery capabilities and the ability to manage workplace technology engagements from end to end.
The improved ranking provides Unisys with an additional competitive credential as it pursues enterprise contracts for workplace management, IT support and related technology services.
