Unisys Gains Ground in Cloud Infrastructure Rankings

Unisys Corporation

BLUE BELL, PA — Unisys Corp. (NYSE: UIS) increased its leadership designations in a 2026 assessment of private and hybrid cloud infrastructure providers, strengthening its competitive position in managed cloud services and artificial intelligence-ready infrastructure across U.S. commercial, public-sector and U.K. markets.

The Blue Bell-based technology services company received five Leader designations in the 2026 ISG Provider Lens Private/Hybrid Cloud – Data Center Services reports, up from four in 2025.

The results mark the sixth consecutive year Unisys has received Leader recognition from Information Services Group, which evaluates technology service providers based on their capabilities, market presence and competitive positioning.

The additional designation reflects Unisys’ standing in a market where businesses and government agencies are seeking to modernize data centers, support AI workloads and maintain reliable technology operations.

Unisys earned two Leader designations in the U.S. commercial market, two in the U.S. public sector and one in the U.K. midmarket.

In the U.S. commercial market, the company was recognized for AI-ready infrastructure managed services for midsize organizations and for managed cloud hosting and resilient infrastructure services.

The first category evaluates providers supporting data center modernization and hybrid cloud operations capable of accommodating AI applications.

The second focuses on integrated cloud hosting, disaster recovery and infrastructure optimization for complex enterprise environments.

Unisys also received Leader designations in two U.S. public-sector categories covering AI-ready infrastructure management and managed cloud hosting.

Those assessments address technology services for state and local governments and educational institutions, where infrastructure modernization must account for governance requirements, operational accountability and continuity of service.

In the U.K., Unisys earned Leader recognition for AI-ready infrastructure managed services targeting midsize organizations.

The assessment cited the company’s use of AI-supported operations and technology evaluations to identify modernization opportunities and improve hybrid cloud environments.

Chris Arrasmith, chief operating officer of Unisys, said customers are placing greater emphasis on infrastructure that can support AI applications without compromising security or operational reliability.

“Organizations are looking for infrastructure environments that can support growing AI demands while remaining secure, resilient and cost-efficient,” Arrasmith said.

The company also received Product Challenger classifications in three additional categories: AI-ready infrastructure managed services for large accounts in the U.S. and U.K., and managed cloud hosting and resilient infrastructure services in the U.K.

ISG uses the Product Challenger designation for providers with established technical capabilities and service portfolios that are continuing to develop their market presence.

The distinction places Unisys below the Leader category in those market segments while recognizing its existing service capabilities.

Shashank Rajmane, senior manager and principal analyst at ISG, cited Unisys’ approach to combining infrastructure modernization with ongoing operational management.

“Unisys differentiates itself through its ability to translate hybrid infrastructure transformation into a governed operating model by addressing hosting, recovery and optimization as a single service,” Rajmane said.

The assessment highlights the growing importance of integrated infrastructure services as enterprises balance AI adoption, cloud modernization, cybersecurity and disaster recovery requirements.

For Unisys, the five Leader designations provide third-party recognition of its capabilities in those markets, particularly among midsize commercial customers and U.S. public-sector organizations.
