WEST CONSHOHOCKEN, PA — Two ramps connecting Interstate 476 and Interstate 76 (Schuylkill Expressway) will close overnight Friday, August 28, and Saturday, August 29, forcing drivers onto detours during milling and paving work in Montgomery County.

The ramp from northbound I-476 to westbound I-76 will close during both overnight work periods.
The ramp from westbound I-76 to southbound I-476 will also close during the same hours.
Drivers will be directed to follow posted detour routes through the area. Plan extra time and consider alternate routes when approaching the interchange in West Conshohocken Borough and Lower Merion Township.
Separately, weeknight lane closures will continue through early September on northbound and southbound I-476 between the I-76 and I-95 interchanges in Montgomery and Delaware counties. Those restrictions are scheduled from 8:00 PM to 5:00 AM.
The work is part of a $63.7 million federally funded project to resurface and improve nearly 17 miles of I-476, including associated ramps and bridges.
The project also includes repairs to 49 structures, improvements to 21 stormwater management basins, slope stabilization, sound wall repairs, drainage upgrades, and installation of new pavement markings, rumble strips, signs, and guiderails.
