Three Men Injured in Highway Shooting on I-95, State Police Seek Public’s Help

PHILADELPHIA, PA — In an incident that transpired early this morning, three men were injured during a shooting on Interstate 95 near the Academy exit in Philadelphia. Following the shooting, a stretch of the highway was closed for several hours as the Pennsylvania State Police conducted their investigation.

The Pennsylvania State Police, Troop K – Philadelphia Station, received a report at approximately 2:39 a.m. on November 22, 2023, about three individuals who had been admitted to Capital Health Regional Medical Center in Trenton, New Jersey. All three had sustained injuries from the shooting incident that occurred on I-95 northbound near mile marker 32.

Among the victims, one man suffered a graze wound and is currently in stable condition. The second victim is also stable, while the third victim is in critical condition. Further details about their identities or the nature of their injuries have not been released yet.

The vehicle involved, a Chevrolet, was found with multiple bullet holes on the passenger side. The Pennsylvania State Police are leading the investigation into this incident, and the motive behind the shooting remains unclear at this time.
