According to the Pennsylvania Department of Transportation, Dark Hollow Road will be fully closed on weekdays during construction hours while crews complete roadway base repairs in Tinicum and Bedminster townships.
During the closure, drivers will be directed to use Route 413 (Durham Road), Point Pleasant Pike, and Route 32 (River Road) to move around the work zone.
Motorists should expect delays and heavier traffic along the detour route, especially during morning and afternoon travel periods. Drivers are encouraged to plan extra time, follow posted detour signs, and seek alternate routes when possible.
The repairs are part of PennDOT’s ongoing roadway maintenance efforts aimed at improving driving conditions and extending the life of the roadway surface. All scheduled work remains weather dependent.
