SupplyOne Acquires Specialty Packaging to Expand Northeast Operations

NEWTOWN SQUARE, PA — SupplyOne, Inc. has acquired Specialty Packaging, LLC, a Connecticut-based packaging distributor, expanding its presence in the Northeast, the company announced.

Terms of the transaction were not disclosed.

Specialty Packaging, founded in 2012 and based in East Hartford, will continue to be led by its founders, Chris Orsini and Keith Streib, following the acquisition.

The company provides packaging products and services, including food packaging, protective materials, equipment, and logistics support.

Its offerings include a proprietary microwavable packaging product designed for frozen foods.

SupplyOne said the acquisition adds capabilities in food packaging and equipment distribution, areas it identified as strategic priorities.

“The addition of Specialty Packaging strengthens our presence in New England while adding meaningful capabilities in packaging distribution and food packaging,” CEO Todd Renehan said in a statement.

Orsini said the acquisition is expected to expand product offerings and operational capabilities for customers.

“SupplyOne’s scale and operational strength will allow us to enhance our breadth of offerings while maintaining the culture that has defined Specialty Packaging,” Orsini said.

The transaction marks SupplyOne’s 47th acquisition as the company continues to expand its geographic footprint and service offerings.

SupplyOne operates more than 60 locations across the United States and Canada, providing packaging products and related services to a range of industries.
