PHILADELPHIA, PA — Professional services firm SolomonEdwards has promoted Carissa Robb to Managing Partner of its Banking & Financial Services (BFS) practice, underscoring the firm’s strategic focus on delivering integrated solutions for clients navigating the evolving regulatory and operational challenges in the financial sector.
Robb, who became a partner in 2024, has played a central role in expanding the firm’s BFS capabilities. In her new role, she will continue guiding banks, credit unions, fintechs, and other financial institutions through digital transformation, risk management, and operational growth. Her leadership is backed by a team of former regulators and industry professionals, offering clients a unique blend of insider knowledge and executional strength.
“Carissa brings a rare combination of strategic foresight, regulatory remediation and startup innovation,” said John Gulnac, CEO of SolomonEdwards. “Her leadership is redefining our role from a traditional compliance partner to a strategic enabler that empowers BFS leaders to be risk-ready, tech-savvy, and execution-focused.”
Robb’s tenure has already marked a shift in the firm’s approach. Following the acquisition of The Dominion Advisory Group in late 2024, she expanded the practice’s footprint in financial crimes compliance and bolstered offerings in M&A readiness and technology integration. Under her guidance, the BFS practice has also prioritized closer alignment with clients’ project management offices to better coordinate enterprise-wide initiatives.
“Over the years, we’ve positioned ourselves as a trusted partner for financial institutions balancing the demands of modernization and risk management,” said Robb. “We’re continually raising the bar on delivering strategic and tactical support, and I’m excited to scale that impact even further.”
Before joining SolomonEdwards, Robb held senior executive roles at TD Bank and served as president and chief product officer at a financial services SaaS startup. In addition to her professional achievements, she remains active in community service, including leadership roles at Riding To The Top and Portland Little League.
Her promotion signals SolomonEdwards’ intent to remain a leading advisory player in the BFS space by combining regulatory expertise with practical innovation.
