PHILADELPHIA, PASolomonEdwards has named George Kelly as its new managing partner, a move aimed at strengthening the firm’s Office of the CFO (OCFO) service line and scaling its delivery capabilities nationwide.

Kelly, who joined SolomonEdwards earlier this year, steps into a national leadership role where he will focus on modernizing the firm’s OCFO offerings and streamlining team operations. His priorities include providing strategic advisory, technical support, and operational execution to help finance leaders tackle business challenges, accelerate transformation, and ensure regulatory compliance — all while driving organizational value.

With over three decades in business advisory and professional services, Kelly brings a wealth of expertise. He previously served as managing director at Korn Ferry, where he led growth initiatives in private equity and industrial markets. Before that, he headed Jefferson Wells in North America, managing service delivery across audit, tax, compliance, and accounting advisory. A Chartered Accountant (ACA), Kelly earned his master’s degree in accounting and business management from University College Dublin.

Reflecting on his new role, Kelly noted the firm’s focus on strategic investments in data science, financial crime prevention, and corporate tax. He also pointed to the recent acquisition of Pencek Advisors as an example of SolomonEdwards’ commitment to expanding its private equity services and addressing emerging market needs.
