WARMINSTER, PA — Signature Systems Inc. will install its gaming-focused point-of-sale technology at Fancy Dance Casino in Perry, Oklahoma, later this year, expanding the Warminster-based technology provider’s reach to nearly one-third of casinos in the state as the tribal property doubles its gaming floor.
Fancy Dance Casino selected Signature Systems’ PDQ POS system as part of an expansion that will increase its gaming floor to 14,500 square feet and add food and beverage options.
The deployment will include self-service kiosks and all-in-one tablets with signature-capture capabilities. Signature Systems describes PDQ POS as an integrated gaming point-of-sale platform designed to connect food and beverage operations with casino systems.
Fancy Dance previously used Toast for its point-of-sale operations, according to Signature Systems. The company stated that the previous system did not provide the player-loyalty and gaming integrations the casino sought as it expanded.
For Signature Systems, the contract adds another tribal gaming property to a customer base that the company reports now encompasses nearly one-third of Oklahoma casinos. Oklahoma is the second-largest gaming market in the U.S., according to the company.
The deal also illustrates Signature Systems’ strategy of targeting gaming operators that require point-of-sale systems integrated with functions specific to casino operations rather than relying on general-purpose restaurant platforms.
“Bringing on this technology and integration will provide better resources for our team and a better experience for our guests,” Fancy Dance Casino General Manager Travis Thomas stated.
Fancy Dance’s expansion was already underway before the POS agreement. The casino broke ground late last year on the project, with its larger footprint creating additional technology requirements for its food and beverage operations.
Signature Systems Executive Vice President and Chief Technology Officer John White stated that Fancy Dance was referred to the company by other members of the tribal gaming industry.
